INNOCENT-TURNED-SCARY

Now, rather than being an actual section, this will act more like an honorable mention - to those pieces of horrors that deserved to be their own identity rather than catagorized.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S

Something that began to pay bills that quickly skyrocketed, Five nights' at Freddys, or FNAF is a simple clickteam horror game that began the sit-and-survive genre - you play Mike Schmidt as you survive 6 nights ( or 7 if you feel like it ) as animatronics attempt to get into your office; that was the original idea for FNAF, but the more games that came out, it began growing, and growing

FNAF, in my opinion, is one of a kind. It inspired so many wonderful games, fan like Five nights at candy's, or just vaguely inspired like Playtime with Percy. Like it or not, it greatly impacted the young minds back then.

SLENDYTUBBIES

Slendytubbies, as suggested by the name, is a teletubbies horror game, thought it does not take itself that seriously. Its name vaguely takes inspo from Slenderman, and its characters are grim, ''disturbing'' versions of the lovable teletubbies. Once kind and playful characters now distorted monsters out for blood, bot sure how family friendly that is, even then, children loved this.

SONIC.EXE

Just like above, Sonic.EXE is not one singular story or character, rather multiple different depictions of the same idea -- a sonic that is not quite right, and has the intention to kill

If it has not been noticed, this is a reccuring pattern -- the idea of something Innocent and nice turning out to be .. not that, and very murderous.

OVERVIEW

If you have not noticed, the idea of ' Innocent-turned-scary' is a very common gengre of horror, used everywhere - such as BEN DROWNED, having used the character Link as its icon, or the aforementioned Freddy Fazbear, a kind and huggable animatronic turning out to be a killer robot possesed by a child, and maybe even tattletail, or Bendy and the Ink Machine , or even Poppy playtime or .... Garten of Banban; otherwise named as 'Mascot Horror'

Whatever your opinion on these types of medias, a majority of them have love and care put behind them, and using a cmommon trope should not derail you from trying
